Walk for Jamie...

On March 29, 2011 Jamie Pursley, at the age of 35, lost her 5 year battle with breast cancer. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, remarkable sister, wonderful daughter and an amazing friend. Jamie fought this disease with every fiber of her being. Her hope was that someday there would be no need for fundraising for breast cancer research. She did everything in her power to assist in that goal. She was willing to try anything in her treatment knowing that even if it didn't help her it might help someone else. Jamie also chronicled her journey at www.lovingpink.com in hopes that she might help at least one person navigate through the frightening process of being diagnosed with breast cancer and what that means. We walk together for Jamie and thousands of other women and men who have had to fight this awful disease, and hope that someday we will find a cure.
